Federal Government don warn property owners wey get Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) to settle all their outstanding ground rent and statutory charges within 60 days, or dem go lose their C of O. Dis warning come from the Federal Government as part of their efforts to ensure compliance with land regulations.
According to the notice, all Federal C of O title owners must make sure to pay all their debts on time to avoid any penalties. Dis move dey aimed at ensuring that property owners take their responsibilities seriously and comply with the laws governing land ownership in Nigeria.
Dis development come at a time when Nigerians dey face numerous economic challenges, including high inflation, rising food prices, and high unemployment rates. However, the government insist say dem must enforce dis rule to maintain order and ensure that everyone follow the law.
