A retired officer from the Nigeria Customs Service, Akeem Sanyaolu, don raise alarm over how police officers dey harass am and seize his property illegally. According to reports, Sanyaolu say police officers no get any right to seize his vehicle without proper justification or legal process.
Sanyaolu claim say the police action dey against the law and dey causing him a lot of stress and financial loss. He appeal to the authorities to intervene and ensure that his rights are protected.
This incident come at a time when the Inspector-General of Police (IG) just announce say police no go tolerate extortion and corruption among their officers. The IG promise to take strict action against any officer wey dey engage in such practices.
