De Commissioner of Police for Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, don order probe into de attack on Lokpanta Cattle Market and Eziama Nunya in Isuikwato Local Government Area of Abia State.
Dis information dey from statement wey de command Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Maureen Chinaka, release on Saturday. According to de statement, CP Danladi Isa and his team visit Lokpanta Cattle Market in Umunneochi LGA and Eziama Nunya in Isuikwato LGA for on-the-spot assessment after de recent attack on seven youths by yet-to-be-identified assailants.
De statement read, “Today 19/10/2024, de Commissioner of Police Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, and his entourage visit Lokpanta Cattle Market in Umunneochi LGA and Eziama Nunya in Isuikwato LGA Abia State, for an on-the-spot assessment following de recent attack of seven youths, one bodily injured, and 65 missing cattle by yet-to-be-identified assailants in de aforementioned areas.”
CP Danladi Isa express deep concern to members of de community and assure dem of credible investigation to bring de perpetrators to book. He urge dem to remain calm, refrain from taking laws into their own hands, and cooperate fully with de police.
De command, in collaboration with local guards from Seriki Hausa in de community, recover 56 out of de 65 missing cattle. Intensive operations dey in progress to track down de remaining cattle and apprehend de assailants.
