Police Clarify Fake Sit-at-Home Video for Imo State

De police for Imo State don come out to clarify one misleading viral video that dey circulate online. The video show people wey dey link to IPOB/ESN enforcing one unlawful sit-at-home order, but police say the video no be true.

The Imo State Police Command issue a statement to address the confusion and fear the video cause among residents. According to the police, the video be old and dey mislead people. They advise residents to ignore any sit-at-home order declared for Monday and Tuesday, as IPOB themselves don deny the announcement.

The police also warn against spreading fake news, especially during sensitive times like this. They stress the importance of verifying information before sharing or reposting, to avoid causing unrest and undermining public trust.

In addition, the police assure citizens that they are ready to ensure public safety and maintain peace in the state. They promise to deal with anyone caught causing disruption or spreading false information.
