PDP Faction Go Court For Order To Hold NEC Meeting

One faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), led by Bauchi Governor Bala Mohammed, don file suit for court order to hold the party’s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting.

The lawsuit, wey Imam Auwal file for Zamfara High Court in Gusau Judicial Division, dey appeal for earlier injunction from Abuja Federal High Court to be set aside. This injunction bin bar PDP from removing their acting National Chairman, Umar Damagum.

The faction dey seek court order to stop PDP and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from cancelling the NEC meeting wey dem plan to hold on Thursday.

As of now, no one know how the other faction wey loyal to Nyesom Wike, the Governor of Rivers State, go react to this new development.
