Patience Jonathan Get PhD, Make Us Believe Age No Be Barrier!

Dis degree na for Psychology, Guidance and Counselling, and she achieve am during di university’s 43rd Postgraduate Convocation Ceremony wey happen wetin face our Saturday.

As she dey talk wey her media adviser, Chris Okeke, make announcement, she use di opportunity to drop motivational talk for Nigerian women and youths. She yan say no be wetin age go stop you from chasing your academic dreams. ”I feel say no age too late to achieve your goals, whether you dey young or old. If I fit do am, you fit do am too!” make we no forget.

No forget! She come add say even if person don retire, e no mean say na end of di book o, education fit refresh your brain and give you chance to learn new tinz. (Some people for here dey think say education na only for young pikin; she go make dem see say dem dey wrong.)

Patience Jonathan dedicate di achievement to all Nigerian women, as she dey plan to continue dey fight for di rights and welfare of vulnerable groups. “I go make sure say I dey work for di people wey no get mouth to talk, especially women and children,” she talk. (Because e no go nice if we no help dem, abi?)

When dem ask her how she cope for dis journey, she shower praise on God and her family support. “I dey grateful to di Almighty God wey help me reach dis stage. My husband, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, na di real MVP wey stand by me throughout. And my pikin, dem too show me love,” she say.

Her journey na encouragement for many wey dey think say education finish for dem. Dis one no be only about degree but about transforming society and making better persons. And as she dey speak, some women dey shout say, “Na our mama be dis o eh!” She no waste time, respond say, “Make una come make we snap picture, after dat we go chop!” (Na party we dey talk so, abeg!)

At di end of di day, Patience don prove say age na just number, and she dey ready to inspire more people to follow their educational dreams. “If I fit do am, wetin stop you? Make we go for am together!” she conclude.
