According to reports, a crate of eggs wey dem buy for N4000 some weeks ago, now dey sell for between N6,000 and N6,500. Even a single egg now sell for N250 or more. This price increase dey make it hard for parents to afford eggs for their children to take to school.
Parents say dis new price dey affect their budget and dey no know how dem go manage to provide eggs for their children again. Some of dem talk say dem no fit buy eggs again because of the high cost, and dis one dey worry dem well well.
