Ondo State Governor and All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the upcoming governorship election, Mr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, don promise say he no go make empty promises to the people of Ondo State. Aiyedatiwa make dis promise during his campaign tour of Ose Local Government area of the state on Saturday.
While addressing an audience at the palace of the Alani of Ido Ani, Oba Olufemi Olutoye, Aiyedatiwa reaffirm his commitment to strengthening security in the area and completing all outstanding road projects. He say, “Unlike other candidates who make promises dem no go fulfil, I no believe in empty words. I will take action and deliver good governance.”
The governor also promise to tackle the persistent security challenges in the region, especially kidnappings by bandits. He say he will increase the deployment of security operatives to the region to address these issues.
Aiyedatiwa emphasize the importance of roads, healthcare, and education to the people of Ose Local Government. He say, “We understand how important roads, healthcare, and education are to your people. That’s why we’re committed to ensuring no community is left behind.”
The traditional rulers in the area, including the Alani of Ido Ani, Oba Olufemi Olutoye, and the Onidogun of Idogun, Oba Moses Bakare, call on the government to address the challenges posed by the poor road network and inadequate infrastructure. Dem also highlight the need for improved healthcare facilities, school renovations, and greater political inclusion.
The Onimoru of Imoru Land, Oba Rotimi Obamuagun, appeal to Governor Aiyedatiwa to intensify efforts in addressing the security challenges affecting the region. He say, “Farming is a major part of our livelihood, but insecurity threatens both farmers and traders who rely on these activities to survive. We need the government to strengthen security in our communities to protect our people and ensure their peace of mind.”
