Obi Visit Ooni of Ife, Unveil Oduduwa House

Peter Obi, one of the prominent figures in Nigerian politics, recently paid a visit to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, as part of his ongoing engagements across the country. During this visit, Obi had the honour of commissioning the newly built Oduduwa House.

The Oduduwa House, which was donated by Sir Dr. Kensington Adebukunola Adebutu, is a significant addition to the cultural and historical landscape of Ile-Ife. This building is expected to serve as a symbol of unity and heritage for the Yoruba people and Nigeria as a whole.

Obi’s visit to the Ooni of Ife highlights his commitment to cultural and traditional institutions in Nigeria. The unveiling of the Oduduwa House is seen as a step towards preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of the Yoruba people.

The event was marked with traditional ceremonies and was attended by various dignitaries and community leaders. This visit and the unveiling of the Oduduwa House are part of Obi’s efforts to engage with different segments of Nigerian society and foster unity and development.
