Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) don appoint Ben Iloanusi as their new acting managing director. Dis appointment happen after Fidet Okhiria complete him second four-year tenure as MD on October 18, 2024.
Yakub Mahmood, deputy director of public relations at NRC, announce dis in a statement on Sunday. According to Mahmood, Iloanusi, wey join NRC in 2011, be di most senior executive director in di corporation and him don serve as deputy director of procurement since 2019.
Iloanusi get degree in political science from University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and him also get Master of Business Administration (MBA) in international management from South Bank University, London, United Kingdom.
In his farewell speech, Okhiria thank di entire corporation for their support throughout his tenure and urge dem to extend di same support to his successor. “I enjoin di management and staff of di corporation to extend same co-operation and understanding to di acting managing director,” Okhiria say.
Iloanusi also request di support of NRC staff and welcome constructive criticism to help move di organisation forward.
