NEDC Share Starter Packs to Trainees: How Dem de Help Youths

North East Development Commission (NEDC) don begin distribute starter packs to trainees wey complete their training programs. Dis initiative na part of their efforts to support youths and help dem start their own businesses.

The distribution ceremony happen for one of the NEDC training centers in Maiduguri, Borno State. Many youths wey receive the starter packs express their gratitude to NEDC for the support.

According to the Managing Director of NEDC, Mohammed Goni Alkali, the commission dey committed to empowering youths in the North East region. He say dat the starter packs include tools, equipment, and capital to help the trainees start their own businesses.

The trainees were trained in various skills such as tailoring, welding, and agriculture. The starter packs dey tailored to the specific skills wey each trainee acquire during their training.

This initiative dey seen as a way to reduce unemployment and promote economic growth in the region. Many stakeholders praise NEDC for their efforts in supporting the youths and helping them to become self-sufficient.
