According to one consultant wey talk to The PUNCH, the demands of the staff go beyond just financial issues. Dem dey ask for better working conditions, proper equipment, and other benefits wey dem feel dem deserve.
The strike dey affect the operations of NAFDAC, and many people dey worry about how dis go impact the regulation of food and drugs in the country. The union leaders say dem ready to negotiate with the management but dem no go back to work until dem see real commitment to address their grievances.
The Federal Government and NAFDAC management don dey called upon to intervene and resolve the matter quickly to avoid any further disruption in the critical services wey NAFDAC dey provide.
