MTN Nigeria Communications Plc don announce the launch and pilot of their new paper-based SIM cards, and dis one dey happen for Lagos and Abuja. Dis new innovation na part of their efforts to combat plastic pollution and promote sustainability.
The paper-based SIM cards, which are more environmentally friendly, are designed to reduce the amount of plastic waste generated by traditional SIM cards. According to MTN, dis move go help in protecting the environment and align with their commitment to reducing their carbon footprint.
The pilot phase go test the feasibility and acceptance of these paper-based SIM cards among customers. If everything go well, MTN plan to roll out dis new SIM cards across the country.
