Microsoft dey Introduce AI Agents to Automate Business Processes

Microsoft don announce the launch of new AI agents for their Dynamics 365 platform, and these agents go dey automate and execute various business processes. According to Microsoft, these AI agents, which dem dey call ‘agentic AI agents,’ go dey work autonomously and be triggered by Copilots. Dem plan to release 10 out-of-the-box agents initially, covering areas like sales, service, finance, and supply chain.

These agents go dey perform tasks like researching leads, prioritizing opportunities, and sending personalized emails for sales teams. For finance, dem go dey automate tasks such as financial reconciliation, account reconciliation, and preparing financial reports. The Supplier Communications Agent go dey track supplier performance, detect delays, and respond to free up procurement teams. Other agents include the Time and Expense Agent, which manages time entry, expense tracking, and approval workflows, and the Case Management Agent, which automates the creation, resolution, and closure of cases.

Microsoft dey use Copilot Studio to allow businesses create and manage their own AI agents. This platform provide low-code design interface that allow users build or customize agents to their needs. The agents can connect to various internal data sources like SharePoint, Salesforce, or other internal knowledge bases, giving dem access to relevant information to perform their tasks well.

Jared Spataro, Microsoft’s chief marketing officer for AI at work, say that these agents go dey function as the new applications in an AI-driven landscape. He add that every organization go eventually work with a collection of AI agents tailored to their business needs. Microsoft indicate that more than half of the Fortune 500 companies in the U.S. are already using Copilot tools within their operations.

The public preview of these agents and Copilot Studio go start next month, and Microsoft plan to develop many more agents over the next year to provide customers with the competitive edge necessary for future-proofing their organizations. Early adopter customers include Clifford Chance, McKinsey & Company, and Pets at Home.
