Kwara State don dey take serious steps to ensure say women for the state dey healthy. Recently, women from all the 16 Local Government Areas of Kwara State benefit from free cancer screening exercise.
The initiative, which be part of the state government’s effort to combat cancer, especially among women, was well-received by the community. Many women turn out in large numbers to take advantage of the free screening.
According to reports, the screening exercise cover various types of cancer, including breast, cervical, and ovarian cancer. Health professionals were on ground to conduct the screenings and provide immediate feedback and advice to the participants.
The Kwara State Government, in collaboration with some health organizations, organize the event. The government dey committed to improving the health care system in the state and making sure say preventive measures like these screenings are accessible to all.
Community leaders and health advocates praise the initiative, saying it will go a long way in reducing the incidence of cancer among women in the state. They also call for more such initiatives to be implemented regularly.
