Justice Mohammed Madugu of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Bwari, Abuja, don issue interim injunction wey dey stop the sale of late judge property. This decision come after the daughter of the late judge sue Christ the King Catholic Church.
The daughter accuse the church of trying to sell her father’s property without her consent. She claim say the church no get the right to sell the property, and she want the court to intervene.
The court order mean say the church no fit sell the property until the matter be fully resolved. This move dey show how serious the court take issues of property rights and inheritance in Nigeria.
The case still dey in court, and both parties dey wait for the final judgment. The daughter hope say the court will rule in her favor and protect her father’s property from being sold illegally.
