Kano State government don announce plans to establish a Safe School Coordinating Centre at the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) headquarters in the state. This move na part of efforts to enhance security and safety in schools across Kano.
According to sources, the centre go serve as a central hub for coordinating and monitoring school security, ensuring that all schools in the state are well-protected and secure. The initiative also aim to foster better collaboration between educational institutions, security agencies, and other stakeholders.
The Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, emphasize the importance of this project, stating that the safety of students and teachers is a top priority for his administration.
