Kano State government don announce plans to establish a Safe School Coordinating Centre at the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) headquarters in the state. This move na part of efforts to enhance security and safety in schools across Kano.

The Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, emphasize the importance of this project, stating that the safety of students and teachers is a top priority for his administration.
