According to reports, farmers for the area dey express their concerns over the excessive rain, which no be good for crops wey prefer moderate weather conditions.
Mr Shawulu, one of the farmers, talk say, “We no want to lose crops wey prefer moderate or dry weather.” Dis heavy rain dey affect many farms, and if nothin be done, e go lead to food shortage and economic hardship for the farmers.
The situation be critical because Nasarawa be one of the states wey contribute significantly to food production in Nigeria. Any disruption in their agricultural activities go have ripple effects on the entire country’s food supply.
