Some interest groups for Ondo State don vow to work hard to make sure Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, wey be the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), win the governorship election wey dey come up on November 16.
The groups, including the Special Interest Committee, promise to deliver over 700,000 votes for Governor Aiyedatiwa. Dis promise show say dem believe in Aiyedatiwa and dem want am to continue as governor of Ondo State.
This move dey come at a time when different candidates dey campaign and promise various things to the people of Ondo State. The election go be crucial as it go determine who go lead the state for the next four years.
Other candidates, like Sola Ebiseni of the Labour Party, also dey campaign hard and dey criticize the current government on some issues, including the Lagos-Calabar coastal expressway project. But Aiyedatiwa’s supporters dey confident say their candidate go win.
