Nigerian government don announce say dem dey provide financial aid to caregivers of People With Disabilities (PWDs). This initiative come from the Office for Disability Affairs, and dem give out N500,000 each to nine homes and six cluster groups that take care of PWDs.
This financial support no be the first time dem dey help PWD caregivers. Just last month, the agency also provide some form of assistance to these groups. The aim be to help them take better care of the people dem dey look after.
The government dey recognize the important role wey caregivers play in the lives of PWDs, and dem want to support dem financially so dem can continue to provide quality care.
