Policemen for Rivers State don arrest four pipo in connection with the disappearance of one NYSC member, Yahya Faruq. Faruq, who dey serve for Andoni Local Government Area, go missing on Monday, October 14, 2024, after him sign in for him part-time job at LDM Chinese Milling Company in Ikuru Town but fail to log out.
Grace Iringe-Koko, the spokesperson for Rivers State Police Command, confirm the arrest and say the four pipo wey dem arrest don dey transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for discreet investigation.
Faruq’s belongings, including him phone and bag, were later returned by the company to his Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) at Mixed Secondary School, Ikuru Town, which raise fears about him safety.
The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Edo Central Area Council, report Faruq’s disappearance to the authorities, and dem also call for prayers and empathy to help locate am.
