FIFA dey face serious criticism because of how dem handle relief fund for over 400 players. The issue come up after Iranian football legend, Ali Daei, who be one of the most famous soccer players in Iran, no fit attend The Best FIFA Football Awards because authorities confiscate his passport.

Daei, who play for Bayern Munich and score 109 goals for Iran, show support for the ongoing protests in Iran, and because of that, he dey face trouble from the authorities. Many other Iranian celebrities and sports personalities also dey face similar issues after dem voice out for the protesters.

The protests in Iran start after the death of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old woman who die in police custody for allegedly wearing her head scarf improperly. Since then, many people, including protesters, journalists, and activists, have been arrested or killed by the authorities.

The situation highlight how FIFA and other sports organizations need to take a stronger stance on human rights issues, especially when it involve their own players and members. The relief fund for players is supposed to help those in need, but if FIFA no address these human rights abuses, it could damage their reputation and credibility.
