Former Managing Director of Sokoto State Investment Company, one Mr. Aminu Dikko, don appear for inquiry to defend some share transactions wey people dey question. The inquiry, which happen on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, focus on allegations of irregularities in how shares were handled under his tenure.
Dikko explain say all transactions were done in accordance with company policies and relevant laws. He claim say he follow due process and get necessary approvals before any share deal.
The inquiry panel, which include representatives from Sokoto State Government and financial regulatory bodies, ask Dikko several questions about the transactions. Dikko provide detailed explanations and documents to support his claims.
The outcome of the inquiry still dey pending as the panel need time to review all evidence and submissions. Sokoto State Government promise say they will make public the findings once they are ready.
