LAGOS, Nigeria — After one year of intense anticipation, Diezani Alison-Madueke’s highly awaited documentary, ‘Is It Your Money?’, don finally drop. The docu-series, which get plenty buzz after its teaser went viral, was officially announced today, May 2, 2025, alongside a trailer on the Instagram page of its director, Chude Jideonwo.
‘Is It Your Money?’ na four-part series wey tell how Diezani Alison-Madueke rise from being the most powerful woman for Africa to becoming Nigeria’s most wanted international fugitive. Dis documentary hailed as the biggest budget from West Africa, na major project funded by the MacArthur Foundation, shot across Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the United States, covering eight cities.
The director, Jideonwo, explain the long journey to bring this documentary to life, saying, “This has been almost three years of the most painstaking research, shooting, investment, fact-checking, post-production, and fending off multiple threats that we will not talk about just yet.”
