E talk say, “Na when we dey pay taxes wey dem go take fund public students, but why dem no fit share am with private school students?” (E be like say dem no sabi say we all na the same Nigeria oh!)
Dem set up NELFUND to help students wey no get money to pay school fees, and since dem start to dey collect application last year, dem don give out serious cash to plenty public students. But wetin dem no fit understand be say, some private school pikin dey also dey struggle, dey collect one meal a day just to make it for school, but they still no fit access this loan.
During this tin wey dem dey prepare for the convocation on Saturday, Babalola com drop more gist say 1,064 students go collect their certificate. About 143 of dem gon come shine with First Class Honours, while 394 go roll with Second Class Upper Division. No be small achievement oh, e be like say dem try well well.
As Babalola dey hala the matter, him still drop beta news for the school, say dem dey get some of their staff wey don turn international rockstars. Dem don enter joint ranking of Top 2% of Scientists in the World. (No be small thing! E mean say dem school na serious matter o!)
As we dey enter the convocation, na so the VC dey celebrate the outgoing Registrar Mr. Babatunde Adeona, Librarian Dr. Aderonke Otunla, and Chaplain Rev.
