The All Progressives Congress (APC) don dey blast former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, for him recent comment wey him call for protest against the fuel hike. According to APC, Amaechi dey try to incite Nigerian youths against President Bola Tinubu.
Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of APC, talk say Amaechiās statement be irresponsible and unpatriotic. Morka say Amaechiās comments dey insensitive and god-awful, especially coming from someone who don hold many high-ranking government positions for over two decades.
Morka accuse Amaechi of playing a dangerous game of incitement, saying his rhetoric be hypocritical given his long involvement in Nigeriaās governance. APC claim say Amaechiās comments dey seek to exploit the economic discomforts that be result of necessary reforms wey the Tinubu administration dey implement.
APC also take aim at other opposition figures like Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, saying their criticisms stem from frustration because dem no dey in power. APC urge Nigerians to dismiss Amaechiās call to anarchy and remain patient, supporting President Tinubuās efforts to transform the countryās economy.
APC also criticize Amaechi for neglecting the crisis between sitting and former governors Nyesom Wike and Sim Fubara in Rivers State, where he once govern. APC say Amaechi should focus on solving the crisis in his former state instead of stoking anarchy on a national scale.
