The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State dey raise questions about the decision of Governor Ademola Adeleke to ban heavy-duty trucks from using the Olaiya Flyover Bridge in the state capital.
According to reports, Governor Adeleke give directive to the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure to restrict heavy-duty trucks from plying the Olaiya Bridge, citing safety concerns based on some technical reports.
The APC in Osun State no dey happy with this decision and dem dey demand that the state government should release the technical reports that support this ban. Dem want to know why dem take such drastic measure without proper explanation to the public.
Former Governor Gboyega Oyetola, who is also a member of the APC, join in the criticism, saying that Governor Adeleke should provide clear evidence and technical reports to justify the ban on heavy-duty trucks using the flyover.
The APC claim say the ban go affect economic activities and cause inconvenience to many people, and dem want transparency in the decision-making process.
