Anambra State government don start to evacuate people wey dey live for areas wey flood fit affect because of the quick rise in water levels for Niger and other rivers.
This evacuation na because of the warning from National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and other weather agencies, wey say flood go happen soon. The state government want make sure say nobody die or suffer because of the flood.
The residents wey dey live for riverine areas, especially those wey dey close to the rivers, dem dey advised to relocate to higher grounds immediately. The government dey work hard to make sure say everyone safe and sound.
The Director General of NEMA also advise people wey dey live for flood-prone areas, especially communities along Rivers Benue and Niger, to remain vigilant and cooperate with the authorities to avoid any disaster.
