Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) don release new report wey show say Agege and Surulere get the worst air quality for Lagos State. According to the report, Agege top the list with hazardous air quality, while Surulere follow closely with very unhealthy air quality.
The report indicate say Agege air quality dey at hazardous level, Surulere dey at very unhealthy level with 76.1 percent, Mushin and LAMATA Kosefe also dey at unhealthy levels with 47.3 percent and 46 percent respectively.
This development dey raise serious health concerns for residents of these areas, as poor air quality fit cause respiratory problems and other health issues. LASEPA advise people to take necessary precautions to protect themselves from the harmful effects of bad air quality.
The agency also promise to work hard to improve air quality across Lagos State, through various initiatives and regulations to reduce pollution.
