Afenifere, di Yoruba social-political organisation, don congratulate di Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, on im 50th birthday. Pa Ayo Adebanjo, di factional leader of di group, in a statement on Friday, commend di monarch for preserving di culture and tradition of Yoruba people.
Justice Faloye, di National Publicity Secretary of di Adebanjo-led faction, describe di monarch as a pride of di Yoruba race and pray for a peaceful, equitable and progressive reign of di Oduduwa house.
Similarly, di Executive Director of Operations at di Nigeria Port Authority, Olalekan Badmus, commend Oba Ogunwusi for demonstrating “exemplary leadership characterised by dedication, compassion, and a commitment to fostering cultural heritage and unity”.
Badmus in his congratulatory message to di Ooni say di monarch’s reign was marked by a vision for peace and progress. “His (Ooni) efforts in promoting cultural awareness and social development have not only uplifted di Ife community but have also inspired many across Nigeria and di diaspora,” he add.
