The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) don dey demand the immediate release of their 89-year-old member, Moses Amaechi, wey dey police custody since October 12.
According to MASSOB, dem say Amaechi no be part of any IPOB/ESN activities as police dey claim. Dem insist say Amaechi be innocent and no suppose dey detention.
The police allegation against Amaechi na say he dey sponsor IPOB/ESN activities, but MASSOB deny dis claim. Dem say Amaechi be respected elder and no fit be involved in such things.
MASSOB dey call on Imo State police to release Amaechi immediately, citing his age and health condition. Dem say keeping Amaechi in detention dey pose serious risk to his health and well-being.
This development dey generate tension among MASSOB members and supporters, wey dey demand justice and fair treatment for their detained member.
