Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State don talk say the cultivation of more land for commercial agriculture don reduce kidnapping for the state. Oyebanji make this statement on Tuesday when he commission the Ikole Township Road and an electricity project.
According to Oyebanji, the opening up of more land for commercial farming has help reduce the incidence of kidnapping and other forms of criminal activities in the area. This development dey show say agriculture fit be one of the ways to tackle insecurity for the region.
