ABUAD Graduate 1,662 Students, Talk About Economic Pressure

On Saturday, October 19, 2024, Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), hold its graduation ceremony where 1,662 students receive their degrees. The event, which take place at the university’s campus, was attended by dignitaries, parents, and well-wishers.

During the ceremony, the Chancellor of the university, Afe Babalola, express his pride in the achievements of the graduating students. He commend them for their hard work and dedication despite the challenging economic conditions in the country.

Babalola also use the opportunity to talk about the economic pressure facing Nigeria. He say that the current economic situation is affecting many aspects of life, including education. He call on the government to implement policies that will help alleviate these pressures and support educational institutions.

The Vice-Chancellor of ABUAD, Prof. Smaranda Olarinde, also speak at the event. She congratulate the graduates and encourage them to be agents of positive change in their communities.
