Samantha Irvin, wey be di popular ring announcer for WWE Raw, don announce say she dey leave di company. She make dis announcement on X (formerly known as Twitter) with a long statement to say goodbye.
Irvin write say, ‘WWE Universe, my time has come to an end as your Monday Night Raw ring announcer. I love you all tremendously and this does not mark the end of my art, I have a lifetime more to share.’ She also thank WWE fans, wrestlers, especially di women in di WWE locker room, and di crew and people behind di scenes who help her.
She give special thanks to people like Paul Heyman, Michael P.S. Hayes, Michael Cole, and Brian ‘Road Dogg’ James. Though it no dey clear if she go stay in professional wrestling or move to another area of broadcasting, Irvin had a career as a singer before she join WWE.
Irvin join WWE in 2021 and she credit Mark Henry for helping her enter di industry. She start on ‘205 Live‘ before she move to ‘WWE NXT’ and later get promoted to main roster duties in early 2022. Her fiancé, Ricochet, recently leave WWE and join AEW in August, but Irvin no mention if she go follow him to AEW.
After posting di announcement, Irvin update her X page by blacking out her profile picture and banner, and her bio now simply read: ‘ARTIST.’ She end her statement with a message say, ‘To my fans, my entire career I’ve been waiting for you We are meant to be and I can prove it. Stay tuned.’
