Osun State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) don caution Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), to stop making comments wey fit cause political unrest for the Southwest region.
Sunday Bisi, the Chairman of Osun PDP, respond to Ganduje’s statement during a political gathering in Ondo State, where Ganduje claim say APC get strategy to ‘capture’ the entire Southwest. Bisi describe Ganduje’s comments as “reckless attempt to plunge the Southwest into unnecessary political turmoil”.
Bisi warn say such utterances fit inflame public sentiment and destabilize the country, especially since Nigeria already dey grapple with ethnic tensions and economic challenges. He emphasize say the people of Osun will decide who govern them when the time come.
Bisi also remind Ganduje of his tenure as governor of Kano, saying, “For a man who couldn’t rescue his home state for the APC, due to his disastrous tenure as governor, to now threaten the Southwest with fire and brimstone is not only reckless but utterly irrational.”
He advise Ganduje to be cautious not to exacerbate the situation by attempting to rig elections, especially in the Southwest, which he compare to stepping on the tail of a dangerous cobra.
