On Saturday, October 19, 2024, AEW Collision went down at di Adventist Health Arena in Stockton, California, and it was a night filled with intense matches and dramatic moments. Di show started with a video featuring Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Pac, Marina Shafir, and Wheeler Yuta. Moxley talked about how winning di AEW World Championship doesn’t change anything, saying di belt is a symbol of everything he has been fighting against in wrestling for years.
Di first match saw Ricochet take on AR Fox in a highly competitive and athletic bout. Both men showed off their skills, with Fox performing a dive over di top rope onto Ricochet on di floor and later hitting a 450 splash for a near fall. However, Ricochet battled back and won di match with his Vertigo move in 12:15.
After di match, Ricochet talked about why he joined AEW, saying it’s where di best come to wrestle, and he’s ready to take on Konosuke Takeshita, di current AEW International Champion.
Di main event of di night was di AEW Trios Titles match, where Claudio Castagnoli, Pac, and Wheeler Yuta of di Blackpool Combat Club defended their titles against Dante Martin, Darius Martin, and Action Andretti of Top Flight. Di champions dominated di match, with Castagnoli delivering hard clotheslines and eventually securing di win with a Tombstone at 10:00.
Post-match, Jon Moxley and his crew continued their aggressive streak, beating down di challengers. Leila Grey tried to intervene but was quickly taken out by Marina Shafir.
Overall, di show received mixed reviews. Thomas Hall from 411MANIA gave di Ricochet vs. AR Fox match a B- rating, praising its fast-paced action but noting it felt overly competitive. He rated di Trios Titles match a C+, saying di result was obvious and di challengers were just an appetizer for di champions.
