Nigerian footballer Victor Boniface, who plays for Bayer Leverkusen and the Super Eagles, has miraculously survived a horrific car crash in Germany. The incident occurred just a few hours after he scored the winning goal for his team in a 2-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt.
Boniface took to his Instagram to share the news, posting a video of his badly damaged Mercedes Benz car. In his post, he expressed gratitude, saying, “God say my time never reach,” which translates to “God says it’s not yet my time” in English.
The car crash left the front of his car severely damaged, but fortunately, Boniface only sustained a minor hand injury. Reports indicate that he is in stable condition and does not require further medical attention.
The details of the crash, including what led to the accident, are yet to be fully disclosed and are expected to be investigated by German authorities in the coming days.
