Officers of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps, known as KAI, have arrested at least 17 miscreants in various parts of Lagos State on Saturday.
The State Commissioner for the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, made this announcement in a post and video shared on X.com on Sunday. According to him, the miscreants were apprehended from areas such as Ile Epo, Abule Egba, Ikeja underbridge, and 7/8.
This recent crackdown is part of ongoing efforts by KAI to maintain environmental sanitation and public order in the state. Just last Friday, PUNCH Online reported that KAI officers also arrested several miscreants and squatters around Ozumba Mbadiwe in the Eti Osa area of Lagos.
