De Commissioner for Communication and Orientation, Chris Nehikhare, talk say de main aim of de meeting be to make sure say de handover of government go smoothly. He say, “We look forward to de collaborative efforts of all members in ensuring a seamless transition.”
De Chairman of de Joint Transition Committee and Secretary to de Edo State Government, Joseph Eboigbe, brief de committee on de state government’s readiness to ensure a flawless transition with de incoming administration. Eboigbe say de government start prepare for dis transition since July 2024, and dem put together all necessary components for a smooth takeoff.
Pius Odubu, de chairman of Okpebholo’s team and former deputy governor of de state, express delight say de state government don begin de exercise towards a seamless transition. Odubu urge de committee to work hard to provide all necessary documents, both hardcopy and softcopy, so dat de incoming government go get all de details dem need to take off.
Odubu also caution against hiding any data or information, saying, “Let’s not try to hide information so dat de incoming government will be well briefed.” De handover ceremony go hold on November 12 in Benin.
