Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Zulum, don appoint Dauda Iliya as im new Special Adviser on Media and official spokesperson. Dis appointment happen about 8 months after the death of im former spokesman, Mallam Isa Gusau.
Dauda Iliya, who be the chairman of the Borno State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), go serve as the new face of Governor Zulum’s media team. This move dey seen as a way to strengthen the communication and media strategy of the state government.
Governor Zulum believe say Iliya’s experience and expertise as a journalist go help in projecting the state’s activities and policies to the public in a more effective way.
This new appointment dey come at a time when the state dey face several challenges, including the recent flooding crisis and the collapse of the Alau Dam. The governor hope say Iliya’s role go help in managing the public’s perception and response to these issues.
