Vandals don dey cause big trouble for people wey dey stay for Kano and Kaduna states. Dem destroy two important electricity towers wey belong to Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) along the 330-kilovolt Shiroro-Kaduna transmission lines 1 and 2.
The towers wey dem destroy, T133 and T136, na key facilities wey dey supply electricity to many areas. The vandalism cause significant damage to the cables, and now many places dey experience blackout.
TCN don start make plans to deploy new equipment to fix the damaged towers, but for now, the blackout go continue to affect many communities.
This kind of vandalism dey happen often and dey cause big problem for Nigeria’s power sector. It slow down the effort to improve electricity supply across the country.
