Four NDPHC Plants No Generate Light for Three Months — NERC

Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) don release report wey show say four power plants wey belong to Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) no generate any electricity for three months.

This report, which cover the period from July to September 2024, indicate say the plants, wey include Alaoji, Calabar, Egbema, and Gbarain, all fail to contribute to the national grid.

According to NERC, the reasons for this include gas supply issues, maintenance problems, and other technical challenges. The commission dey work hard to ensure say these plants come back online and start generating electricity to meet the increasing demand of Nigerians.
