Iran Missile Attack: Israel No Decide Yet on How to Retaliate

Iran launch nearly 200 ballistic missiles at Israel on October 1, and Israel still dey think of how dem go retaliate. The missiles hit several places including Tel Aviv, Haifa, Jerusalem, and two major airbases, Tel Nof and Nevatim, where F-35 jets dey based.

Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, don vow say Israel go strike back, but dem no decide yet on the exact time and how dem go do am. The Israeli security cabinet meet but no reach agreement on the best way to retaliate.

The United States dey involved in the matter, as President Joe Biden and Netanyahu don talk on phone to discuss the issue. America no want Israel to target Iran’s nuclear facilities or oil installations, but Israel no give any guarantee say dem no go do am.

Iran dey nervous about Israel’s response and dem dey try to use diplomacy to reduce the tension. Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, say Netanyahu be the one who want war to stay in power. Iran also dey talk to neighboring countries like Saudi Arabia to see if dem fit help prevent Israeli attack.

Gulf states like Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar say dem no go allow Israel use their airspace to attack Iran. Jordan also say dem go protect their airspace from any unauthorized flight.

The international community dey watch the situation closely, especially as Israel observe Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Atonement, which mean all activities go pause for now.
