Yesterday, di people of Asaba Kingdom in Delta State celebrate as Prof. Epiphany Azinge, SAN, dey crowned as di 14th Asagba of Asaba. Di event happen for Oshimili South Local Government Area and it draw many important people from different parts of di country.
Prof. Azinge, who before now be di Okilolo of Asaba Kingdom, promise to bring justice and fairness to all his people. He also vow to give zero tolerance to gossip, especially inside di palace, to ensure peace and stability during his reign.
Peter Obi, di former Vice Presidential candidate, also attend di coronation ceremony to celebrate with his elder brother, Prof. Azinge. He describe di occasion as momentous not just for Asaba people but for everyone who care about di kingdom.
Di coronation ceremony be a grand event that showcase di rich culture of Asaba people. It attract many dignitaries and well-wishers who come to rejoice with di new monarch.
