Power cut dey affect State House, Abuja Airport, NASS Annex

Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) don announce power outage wey dey affect Presidential Villa, Supreme Court, Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport and many parts of Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

According to notice wey AEDC post on dia X handle on Saturday, the disruption na because of technical fault.

Areas wey dey affected include State House, Supreme Court, Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Lugbe, Asokoro, Central Area, and Garki Areas 2, 3, 7 and 8, among other locations for Abuja.

The company list many institutions, diplomatic missions and facilities wey the disruption affect, including Bolingo Hotel, NAN, Turkish, Sudan and Egypt embassies, Envoy Hotel, European Union offices, National Planning Commission, National Hospital, and Pakistan and India embassies.

Other affected locations include Garki Village, Garki Market, Treasury House, Karibu Hotel, parts of Asokoro, Yakubu Gowon Street, Kano, Sokoto and Imo Government Lodges, Gado Nasko Street, Justice Sowemimo and Hassan Musa Katsina streets, as well as parts of Jabi and Maitama.

AEDC further say power supply also disrupt for areas around State House, National Assembly Annex, Aso Drive, National Judicial Council (NJC), Supreme Court, Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA), Command Guest House, military barracks, War College and BAT Barracks.

The outage extend to Lugbe, Aviation Village, Piwoyi, Kapwa, Nicomsat, Korean School, Dunamis Church, Shoprite, Airport Road, Air Force Base, River Park Estate, and offices of Nigeria Immigration Service, Customs, Correctional Service and Civil Defence.

AEDC say technical teams from Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) dey work now to restore electricity supply to affected areas.
