Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, wey serve as di APC presidential primary collation officer, announce di result. E say di outcome show di state unity and commitment to continuity of Tinubu administration beyond 2027.
Abiodun reveal say total number of registered voters na 343,407, while accredited voters stand at 323,164. Total votes cast na 322,485. Di results wey returning officers from all 20 local government areas collate and present to di state collation centre.
Breakdown of di results show Tinubu securing overwhelming votes across all local governments, including Abeokuta North (26,043), Abeokuta South (24,948), Ado-Odo/Ota (39,100), Sagamu (19,319), Ifo (24,207), and others. Stanley Osifo reportedly score zero votes for all local government areas.
Declaring di result, Abiodun say: “At the end of the voting exercise, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu scored 322,485 votes, while Stanley Osifo scored zero votes. By the authority of the National Working Committee, I hereby declare President Bola Ahmed Tinubu winner of the Ogun State presidential primary election.”

Separately, for Osun State, Dr Akin Ogunbiyi don emerge as APC senatorial candidate for Osun West. Ogunbiyi poll 30,651 votes to defeat oda aspirants for di primary election wey hold across di Osun West Senatorial District.
Im opponents: Gafar Akintayo secure 1,456 votes, while Chief Peter Apata receive 14 votes. Di businessman describe di outcome across di 110 wards as “an affirmation of my popularity and acceptance among APC members in Osun West.”
Ogunbiyi express appreciation to President Bola Tinubu, Minister of Marine and Blue Economy Adegboyega Oyetola, APC chieftain Bisi Akande, and oda party leaders for dia support during di primary. E also thank members of APC for di confidence wey dem repose for am.
