Samsung don start to roll out One UI 8.5 update for Galaxy devices, and e plenty things wey dey inside.
The first wave start on May 6, 2026, for South Korea, and from May 11 e go spread to other kontris.
Flagship phones like Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy S25 FE, Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy Tab S11 series and Galaxy Tab S10 series go get the update first.
But older devices and mid-range phones go wait small. Dem no go get the full Galaxy AI suite. Instead, dem go receive smaller set of AI features wey dem call “Awesome Intelligence“.
Devices wey go get this smaller update include Galaxy A56, A55, A54, A36, A35, and A34, plus dia Galaxy M and F equivalents.
Older A-series devices wey dem release before 2023 no likely go see this update.
If you get A/M/F series phone, plan to receive the update sometime for June 2026.
Samsung dey do staged rollouts, and e dey take four to eight weeks to reach all eligible devices worldwide.
If you own flagship phone, expect your update within two to three weeks of May 11.
If you get carrier-locked phone, e fit take extra few days because carriers need to certify the update first.
Make sure you get enough storage space and dey on Wi-Fi to download the update.
