INEC don show hand – ADC yarn say election body don dey fear ruling party

Na serious gist dey ground for Nigeria politics as Bolaji Abdullahi, National Publicity Secretary of African Democratic Congress (ADC), come out yarn say Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) don dey fear intimidation. Him talk say INEC don succumb to pressure from ruling party, and dis one fit spoil 2027 general elections.

Abdullahi yarn dis matter for ARISE NEWS interview on Thursday. Him talk say INEC no dey neutral again. “Today, INEC don bamboozle. INEC don fear intimidation. Dem don succumb to intimidation and dem dey plan to just crown President Bola Tinubu,” Abdullahi yarn with strong voice.

Dis matter start from inside ADC wahala. According to Abdullahi, Nafiu Ubala resign as national chairman on May 18, 2025. INEC get formal notice on August 12, 2025. But INEC still dey recognize Ubala as faction chairman. “As at July 17, Ubala no be party official again. And INEC sabi dis,” Abdullahi talk.

Him yarn say INEC dey use administrative decisions to interfere for opposition politics. “Dem recognize Ubala as faction, meaning say INEC don take side. INEC don become partisan, and dem don jump enter race,” Abdullahi add.

Abdullahi talk say all dis wahala na orchestration by ruling party to destabilize ADC. “Why all dis matter dey escalate just few days after we receive something? We all sabi wetin dey happen,” him talk with frustration.

Him yarn say court of appeal already make ruling say status quo must maintain. But according to Abdullahi, INEC don violate court directive. “If you say NEC say make we disregard ruling, dat mean say Rafi Musu na chairman. So court no go see same situation when final acceptance come. Wetin INEC do na criminal,” Abdullahi explain.

Him talk say INEC dey try create case where no case dey. “If you ask people to register to vote, na wahala already. Now you want make every person wey get voter’s card go back to polling unit to revalidate card few months before election? Na pain and kill,” Abdullahi yarn.

For ADC side, Abdullahi talk say dem don give INEC 21 days notice. “Dem accept notice. So whether dem come monitor our Congresses or not, we go continue with our convention,” him talk with determination.

Abdullahi warn say Nigeria democracy dey open for our eyes. “We dey ask for proof as if we be foreigners. Wetin dey happen clear, and e suppose concern everybody,” him talk.

Him conclude say ADC no trust INEC again. “INEC don show hand say dem dey biased. Issue be say today, INEC don bamboozle. INEC don fear intimidation. INEC don succumb,” Abdullahi yarn with finality.
