Malami dey vex, accuse EFCC for illegal raid on im house

Former Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, don come out strong to accuse Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for illegal activity. According to Malami, EFCC operatives, with armed security personnel, invade some of im buildings and offices for Monday morning. Dem also carry two people go custody during the invasion.

Malami talk say the interim forfeiture order wey EFCC dey use don expire. Im media aide, Mohammed Bello Doka, release statement say the court order wey dem grant on January 6, 2026, na for 14 days only. That time don pass, and EFCC no get any valid court order to do wetin dem do.

The matter still dey before court. The case wey EFCC file at Federal High Court, Abuja Division, under Justice Joyce Abdulmalik (Suit No: FHC/ABJ/CS/20/2026), still dey ongoing. Court never make any final decision, and no order authorize the invasion and marking of the properties.
