Jeffery Igein, wey be National Secretary of National Union of Food, Beverage, and Tobacco Employees, come talk say NAFDAC no carry the directives wey Federal Government give dem for head.
Igein come dey shout say if dis factory sealing no stop, e go affect plenty jobs. E don talk say for Abuja and Aba, people dey protest too. Na over 5.5 million workers dey threaten by dis matter. “If foreign investors dey see how your government dey treat your own people, who go wan bring money come?” he ask.
Somefun Olamiye, wey be chairman for Food, Beverage, and Tobacco Senior Staff Association for Lagos, don join matter too. E dey complain say Adeyeye wey dey manage NAFDAC no send correct info, and plenty companies dey plan to cut staff. If dem no careful, e fit lead to over 10,000 jobs lost sharp sharp!
